DAU EVMS Gold Card

Per the DAU:

This DAU Gold Card is a single-sheet reference that defines common Earned Value (EV) terminology (''alphabet soup''), lists EV metric equations, and labels the most common EV graph. It also summarizes DoD EVM policy.

 

 

This is the September 2015 version which has updated the threshold for requiring EVMS validation from $50M to $100M. Click here to see the Class Deviation outlining this change.

The June 2015 version updated the EVMS standard from ANSI/EIA-748 to EIA-748.

The February 2015 version updated the DoDI 5000.02 references on the back of the card.

The January 2014 version updated the Interim DoDI 5000.02 references on the back of the card.

The August 2013 version updated section headings, modified BEI & Hit Task % formulas to better align with DCMA terms, added acronyms, deleted FAR clauses, updated CPR & IPMR Format titles.

The Revised July 2012 version of the DAU Gold Card. This version added reference to the new Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) DID and removed references to tripwire and Critical Path Length Index (CPLI) .

The June 2012 version changed the format / spacing; added VAC %; modified TCPI by using ‘TARGET’; added Project Slip ??; added PARCA eMail; modified the EVM Policy paragraph; and changed PAC & TCPI acronyms.

The February 2012 version revises the BEI formula to make it less confusing, removes the EAC(CPI) = BAC/CPI(CUM) formula, and updates the DFARS references.

The November 2010 Gold Card updated several definitions to be more closely aligned with DCMA.  The Tripwire metrics section was also adjusted for spacing.

The September 2010 version of the DAU Gold Card modifies the Critical Path Length Index equation to better represent the way the metric is being calculated and incorporates references to the new EVMS DFAR clauses (252.234-7001 Notice of Earned Value Management System & 252.234-7002 Earned Value Management System).

The January 2009 version of the DAU Gold Card updates the EVM Policy reference to reflect the December 02, 2008 DoDI 5000.02 update.

The April 2008 version modified the Critical Path Length Index equation to better represent the way the metric is being calculated and incorporates references to the new EVMS DFAR clauses (252.234-7001 Notice of Earned Value Management System & 252.234-7002 Earned Value Management System).

The December 2006 version reorganizes the front of the card to include the newly added EVM related DoD Tripwire Metrics and the FAR clause references are added to the back.
