- Serve as an effective vehicle for the exchange of views and information between Government
and Industry regarding matters of common concern that involve integrated program management processes
including earned value management.
- Foster mutual understanding and effective working relationships between Government and
Industry regarding the development, documentation and maintenance of effective integrated program
management processes.
- Participate with International counterparts, as opportunities permit, to jointly move toward
common EVMS standards (including ANSI/EIA-748) to the extent practical.
- Provide Government with Industry perspectives on government policies, practices, needs and
problems within the PMSC’s purview, conducting such special studies as may be required.
- Safeguard the interests of NDIA by carrying out the policies, aims and purposes, as laid down
in the Charters of the PD and the PMSC, as well as the NDIA By-Laws.

NDIA’s Greater Los Angeles Chapter’s primary focus is the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center
(SMC) at Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo, and the related Aerospace Industry in Southern
California. SMC is the center of technical Excellence for research, development and acquisition of
the National Security Space Systems. The center is also responsible for on-orbit checkout, testing,
sustainment and maintenance of satellite constellations and other military space systems. The center
has an annual budget in excess of $10 Billion per year and manages between $50 and $60 Billion in
contracts at any one time. SMC’s organization exceeds 6,000 military and civilian personnel including
several remote detachments.

Join us for the Integrated Program Management Division (IPMD),
formerly the Program Management Systems Committee (PMSC) quarterly meeting, April 29th-30th,
2014.
The IPMD is the primary forum for building strong Industry and
Government working relationships to promote integrated program management using Earned Value
Management (EVM) and related program management processes and broadcasting the focus and membership
of the IPMD through its continuing outreach initiatives and forums.
The IPMD works with the DoD and other Federal agencies on all
improvement initiatives for the mutual benefit if both the Government and the Industrial base, as
well as in an effort to understand and adapt to the changing government procurement
environment.

The San Diego Chapter of NDIA (National Defense Industrial
Association) is proud to present the NDIA 26th Navy Gold Coast Small Business Procurement Event
"Small Business and the Navy - Keeping the Sea Lanes open for American Prosperity", also simply known
as the "Gold Coast". The purpose of Gold Coast is to provide a forum to educate, guide, and assist
businesses, especially small businesses, in working with the government, primarily the Department of
Defense.
