Agile development methods provide a disciplined process for defining work and tracking progress of the work. Integrating Agile performance data with the Earned Value Management system provides a vertical integrated view of cost, schedule, and scope, from development activities to program performance measures. The EVMS & Agile Guide is a collaboration between the US Government and Industry through the National Defense Industrial Association – Integrated Program Management Division (NDIA IPMD).
